Operated by specialized guides,who cater for beginners and experienced riders, Arena Horse Riding is run by Katerina Maliaki and Elias Siriotis. Katerina, at the age of 4 had her first contact with horses, and growing up with them, distinguished herself in equestrian competitions. Elias Siriotis who in addition to his years of experience and contact with horses, has also held first aid certification since 2009.

The Arena Horse Riding Corfu horses are fully trained and familiar with the trainers but also very friendly with the aspiring young riders.

At Arena Horse Riding Corfu all the horses are in excellent condition as necessary attention, careful care and good health of the equines is given utmost priority.

Arena Horse Riding’s grounds covers more than 4 acres and has 5 large stables for their horses. At Arena Horse Riding you will find ample parking, 2 wooden kiosks where you can enjoy a beverage and a change room where you can leave your belongings. Outside there is a small arena for riders to practice before going out with their horses. There are also 50 olive trees that provide natural shade, ideal for hot summer days.

Riders at the Arena Horse Riding Corfu have a choice between riding on the beach or taking a trek through the hills. The route to the beach includes a swim for the riders, should they wish, and the horses, so they may cool off. Get ready to get wet and have a unique riding experience in the amazing landscape that unfolds before you. At the very secluded, sandy beach of Platytera Monastery enjoy a dip, with the horse, in the crystal-clear Ionian Sea.

The route to the hill affords one an incomparably beautiful view that stretches before one and will be indelibly imprinted in one’s memory. Cross the village of Pelekito on horseback, pass through the olive groves and reach a point overlooking the mountains of Albania. At Arena Horse Riding the adventure is out there! Combine a 2-hour walk with the Arena Horse Riding Corfu, try local products, and be filled with unique experiences. The rider’s friends have the opportunity to follow the walk if they wish.

For the route to the beach, the riders are required to wear swimsuits and have a towel so as to be able to change into dry clothes after their swim. Riders should wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Long pants are recommended to avoid chaffing due to friction of the skin on the saddle.

Insect repellent and a backpack are also recommended. Booking your place for the walk you choose is essential as there are limited places.
