Equal Society invites you to the photography exhibition titled “Corfu Otherwise”, which will be held from September 16 to 26, 2024 at the Windmill of Corfu.

This exhibition highlights the unique beauty of Corfu through the eyes of amateur photographer and writer, Evgenia Ampeti. We became acquainted with Ms. Evgenia over the past year while she has been receiving services from the social structures of our organization on the island of Corfu. Through our discussions, she shared samples of her hobby and her dream of holding her own photography exhibition. We embraced the idea immediately, as the cultural sector is one of the core areas of Equal Society. Through the value of Art, we aim to help individuals overcome psychological inertia, regain self-belief, and become motivated.

Focusing on the island, the photographs showcase landscapes, everyday moments, and hidden corners that compose the unique identity of the place. The purpose of the exhibition is to highlight photography as a means of expression and creation.

The opening will take place on Monday, September 16, at 19:00, in a celebration of art and social solidarity.

The exhibition will be open at the Windmill until September 26, from 11:00 – 13:00 & 18:30 – 20:00.
