CORFU (Corfu Studies Society). The Corfu Studies Society – Solomos Museum of Corfu is pleased to announce the commencement of this year’s summer educational activities and invites both adults and children to participate!
This year, the artistic summer educational programs of the Solomos Museum are themed around the life and work of the great author Konstantinos Theotokis. They are carried out in collaboration with the Ionian University and the Postgraduate Program in “Music Pedagogy in School and Community” of the Department of Music Pedagogy and Psychology.
The programs are held at the exhibition space within the Holy Temple of Agios Georgios in the Old Fortress of Corfu.
Four open activities have been scheduled: two for preschool and primary school children, and two for all members of the community.

The educational activities were inaugurated with two significant participations!
The first took place on Monday, August 7, 2023, with the participation of children from the “7th SUMMER ATHLETIC CAMP” of the Corfu Gymnastics Club and the Athletic Club I. KAPODISTRIAS. Warm thanks go to Mr. Sakis Koutroumanos, the accompanying ladies Artemis Provata and Eirini Kontini, and the children of the Camp for their excellent participation and collaboration.
The second activity took place on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with the children of the KΔΑΠ “What I Love.” We owe warm thanks for their exceptional collaboration to Ms. Lydia Heimariou, Mr. Dimitris Varzakakos, Mr. Nikos Galanos, and Ms. Eri Komianou. Warm thanks also go to the children of “What I Love” for their wonderful participation.
