Synopsis of the Play: In an urban living room, six women anxiously, sometimes hysterically, strive to organize a perfectly respectable “ceremony” to bid farewell to their deceased aunt. They attempt to regulate all the details, with the help of a “Maitre” whom they hire, to make the ceremony “dignified.”

In reality, the deceased is just an excuse for them to showcase their economic prosperity and social status, as the ceremony is not what truly interests them. Everything unfolds within the framework of exhibitionism and self-promotion. The play reflects the ostentation and hypocrisy of a world that, in its pursuit of appearances, loses touch with reality and reaches comical situations.
