‘THEATRICAL WINTER 2024′

Thanasis Triaridis’ new work premiered nationwide with Paleologos Khalidas and directed by Dimitra Larentzaki in January 2023 at the ACT Theater in Patras, produced by AntArts ΑΜΚΕ. The play was also performed in Athens at the Avaton Theater, at the Scene 125 Theater of Theatrical Sympaignia in Ioannina, and at the 10th Mill Festival of Performing Arts – Cycle in Larissa.

An actor, seemingly desperate at first, armed with relentless humor and delivering an unforgettable show every night, decides, without fear but with passion, to risk a life for the good of humanity.

He calls random people who, due to coincidence, have names of American Presidents. He proposes to play a game, pronounce a phrase, and automatically win a cash prize. Their answer will determine the course of events.

A dark – fitting for politics – comedy by Thanasis Triaridis, featuring one actor, an animal – a dog in this case, a strong dilemma, and an absolutely unexpected ending.

As in bullfights where ultimately one will manage to survive.

Man or animal.

Each night, only the audience can save his life.
