    25th International Dance Ensemble Meeting “SINIES 2024”

    The Cultural and Educational Association of Sinies, faithful to its date with tradition, is organizing the 25th International Dance Ensemble Meeting “SINIES 2024”. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd, in the courtyard of the Acharavi Town Hall, on Friday, July 5th, in the City of Corfu at the Peristyle of the Palace of St. George and St. Michael, and on Saturday, July 7th, at the Sinies Olive Press. The events start at 21:00, and entry is free. This year’s event includes the following groups:

    Participants for this year’s event:

    1. Idaho Rocky Mountain Express (USA)
    2. The Song and Dance Ensemble “Miechowiacy” (POLAND)
    3. Les Joyeux Vendeens (FRANCE)
    4. Tanzkreis Neudau (AUSTRIA)
    5. Cultural and Educational Association of Sinies
    6. Cultural Dance Group of Corfu
    7. Cultural Association of Kassiopi
    8. Cultural Society Union of Perithia “Filippos Vlachos”

    The program of events is as follows:

    Wednesday, 03/07/2024:

    • Courtesy visit to the Mayor of North Corfu and exchange of gifts.
    • Festival opening on the main stage in the courtyard of the North Corfu Town Hall in Acharavi.

    Friday, 05/07/2024:

    • Courtesy visit to the City Hall and meeting with the Mayor by the ensemble delegations for an exchange of gifts and welcome to the city. This will be followed by a parade of the ensembles through the main streets of the city, ending at the peristyle of the palaces for the festival opening.

    Saturday, 06/07/2024:

    • The 3rd day of the meeting at the Sinies Olive Press.

    This event by the Association is under the auspices of CIOFF and has the support of the Ionian Islands Region and the Municipality of North Corfu.
