    Gathering of Greek-Georgian Culture in Corfu

    The Cultural Association of Sinies will organize events on January 27th and 28th, 2024, themed “Gathering of Greek-Georgian Culture in Corfu,” in collaboration with the Georgian Cultural Center “CAUCASUS” and the Embassy of Georgia in Greece.

    On Saturday, January 27, 2024, starting at 19:45, a musical and dance evening will take place at the Corfu Municipal Theater, featuring the participation of the Georgian Cultural Center “CAUCASUS,” the Musical Ensemble of Georgian Traditional Song “MARTVE,” the Ionian Conservatory with professors Lia Kolyta (Soprano), Maria Mazi (Piano), Dimitris Argyro (Clarinet), the Cultural Dance Group of Corfu, and the Cultural Association of Sinies with dance groups of adolescents and adults. Admission for the public is free.

    Additionally, following an invitation from the Cultural Association of Sinies, officials from the Georgian government and a delegation from the Georgian Embassy, as well as business representatives, will visit the island.

    The event is under the auspices of the Georgian Embassy and the National Section of CIOFF, with the support of the Ionian Islands Region and the Municipality of North Corfu.
