Antonis Mitzelos, one of the most influential and iconic Greek composers of his generation, a virtuoso guitarist with international recognition and a remarkable performer, has left his own personal mark on modern Greek music—from the legendary band Termites to the present day.

Continuing his live performances with passion and explosive energy, he presents his new electric guitar-driven show “In Some Corner of the Moon”, on Friday, March 21, at EPTA, Place of Arts, alongside Ioanna Vlachou.

A festive program featuring Antonis Mitzelos’ greatest electric hits, spanning from the 1980s to today, including:
“Fylakas Aggelos” (Guardian Angel), “Poso Se Thelo” (How Much I Want You), “Me To Idio Mako” (With the Same T-shirt), “Pos Boro” (How Can I), “Skliroi Mousiki” (Hard Music), “Flasáki” (Little Flash), “Skoni” (Dust), “Ftanei Pou Klaime” (It’s Enough That We Cry), “Psichi Vathia” (Deep Soul), “Tipota” (Nothing), “Pes Mou Thalassa” (Tell Me, Sea), “Vasilissa tis Siopis” (Queen of Silence), “Kopse Kai Moirase Sta Dio” (Cut and Share in Two), and “Den Leei I Kardia Na Mathei” (The Heart Refuses to Learn).

Expect high energy, deep emotions, and an unforgettable singalong experience—hallmarks of Mitzelos’ “Guitarodia” performances.

The night will also include a special tribute to Termites and Lavrentis Machairitsas, along with new compositions such as the touching “Ego Eimai Edo Kai Mi Se Noiazei” (I Am Here, Don’t Worry), performed by Mitzelos himself.

Joining him is the exceptional singer Ioanna Vlachou, a distinguished Corfiot artist known for her vibrant energy and optimism, performing both Mitzelos’ songs and her own hits. She has collaborated with renowned Greek musicians such as Giorgos Hadjinassios, Christos Nikolopoulos, and Antonis Vardis.

The event will feature the participation of Agios Ioannis Gymnasium Choir of Corfu and The Children’s Choir of the Epirus Association of Corfu, under the direction and teaching of Olga Koutsoukali. The young singers will bring emotional depth to Mitzelos’ music, adding a unique dimension to the night.

A concert filled with musical surprises, dynamic performances, and the collective energy of Mitzelos, Vlachou, Koutsoukali, and the two choirs.
