The Artistic Association “METRON,” as part of its cultural activities for 2025 and in celebration of its 10th anniversary, presents the musical “The Magic of Music”. This production is based on one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, “The Sound of Music”, which broke all box office records.

The story takes us to Nazi Austria in 1938. Everything changes in the home of the strict widower Captain Von Trapp when Maria, a young novice nun, arrives to care for his seven children. Armed only with a guitar and her innate optimism, she brings joy back into their lives!

With 60 contributors on and off stage, this performance promises to make you laugh, reflect, and be moved!

Direction, adaptation, Greek translation of songs, orchestration, and supervision are by Spiros Atsopardis and Eftychia Vogiatzoglou, with choreography by Niki Giannou. The production is by the Artistic Association “METRON.”

The two performances are scheduled for Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12, at 7:30 PM at the Municipal Theater of Corfu.
