Nikos Portokaloglou, one of the country’s top musicians and songwriters, sets up a musical performance this summer, based on his most beloved songs as well as bold combinations of Greek and foreign iconic songs, in the unique way he does on his television show, “Music Box”.
Nikos Portokaloglou, along with his exceptional collaborators, becomes our company every Wednesday through the highly successful show “Music Box” on ERT1. The inspirer and creator of the show, Nikos Portokaloglou meets distinguished guests and shares original covers of beloved songs, setting up a unique television live show every week.
Along with him, Vicky Karatzoglou, one of the youngest recognizable authentic folk voices, who has already carved out a unique path in the Greek music scene. “Three minutes and something” is the title of her new album released by Panik Records, with many significant contributors and a fresh sound that embraces folk elements and blends seamlessly with Nikos’s songs and aesthetics.
Vyron Tsurapis, a faithful companion of Nikos Portokaloglou in recent years in his live performances, has become widely known through “Music Box” as a member of the show’s band. This year, he travels with his beautiful songs from his personal album “Long Words” in his luggage.
The team is completed by the colorful and dynamic band of Nikos Portokaloglou, the “Noble Rogues”.
