On the occasion of the release of the album We Will Bloom Again, Philippos Pliatsikas will embark on a tour across Greece and Cyprus, taking audiences on a retrospective journey through songs spanning three decades. “The Prince of the Western Bank,” one of the most influential musical figures in Greece, offers songs that have stood the test of time.

In January 1995, Manos Xydous persistently convinced Philippos Pliatsikas to approach the microphone and sing. As Pliatsikas has revealed, “…until then, I would see a microphone and sit 15 meters away from it…” A year later, his first major success as a singer came with the song Old Loves Go to Heaven, for which lyricist Maro Vamvounaki had stipulated that Philippos himself must perform. This song marked his debut as a singer and enriched the soundtrack of our lives for the next three decades.

If I Could Change the World, My Loneliness and Everything, Who Has a Say in Love, Snow City, Dedicated, You Know Me Better, Truth Be Told, You Stopped Reminding Me of Love, and many more songs we have loved—whether with Pyx Lax or through his solo discography. This concert celebrates Philippos Pliatsikas with his music, which has defined the past 30 years of our lives.

So many moments and memories… This marks the culmination of a deep musical bond and a universally inclusive musical world from an artist whose songs have become part of our lives.
