    Join the Hiking Trip to Troumbeta-Doukades

    On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the Mountaineering and Hiking Club of Corfu invites you to join a planned hiking trip from Troumbeta to Doukades.

    Route Details:

    • Distance: 13 km
    • Altitude Difference: ~350 m
    • Difficulty Level: 2+
    • Duration: 4.5 – 5 hours
    • Excursion Leader: Spyros Mathesis

    Equipment:

    • Suitable hiking shoes (mountain boots recommended)
    • Windbreaker
    • Water
    • Snacks
    • Hat
    • Walking stick (optional)
    • Clothing suitable for the season
    • Change of clothes on the bus (optional)

    Departure: Meet at 8:30 AM at the tourist bus parking area in the old port (in front of the Black Cat).

    Transportation to and from the hiking location will be provided by a rented bus. Return to the city will be in the afternoon.

    Participation Cost:

    • €5/person for club members
    • €7/person for non-members

    Registration: Registration and payment can be made at the club’s offices (14 M. Methodiou, within the arcade) on Wednesday, November 15, and Friday, November 17, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. For more information, contact 6980944576 ONLY from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the same days.

    Members of the club can also reserve a spot by phone.

    The club’s phone line is open ONLY during office hours.

    Those who wish to become members of the Hiking and Mountaineering Club of Corfu can fill out the relevant application and the responsible declaration and pay the annual fee of €15 (couples, the second member €10 / students €10).
