Because he is a very organized person, during the two years of quarantine, he didn’t write even a shopping list. As he stated: “I thought they would close us down again this year, so there was no need to write anything.”

In the end, he was wrong.

“How Dare You?” is a performance that combines snobbish Swedish neighbors with polite and rude people, and popular singers with the Homeric question, because he studied philology and needed to use that knowledge somehow.

Mini Bio:

Thanasis Samaras began uploading comedy videos to YouTube in 2012 and has since been part of the Comedy Lab team. He later collaborated with Mega Channel to create videos for the channel’s online platform. His work with videos led him to become an Executive Producer at Entrinno Productions, owned by Sakis Tanimanidis, for the show “Denekes,” which aired on Macedonia TV.

In addition to video work, he has been professionally involved with Stand-Up Comedy for the past ten years. He has performed in most places in Greece and was the first, in collaboration with another comedian, to organize the first Open Mic in Thessaloniki in 2014, to promote new talent in Stand-Up Comedy. In the summer of 2018, he presented his first solo stand-up comedy work-in-progress show titled “Rumors Say” at the comedy festival in Alexandroupolis.
