The Administrative Committee of the Reading Society of Corfu invites you to an event organized as part of its centennial celebrations commemorating the one hundred years since the death of the writer Stefanos-Konstantinos Theotokis (1872-1923).

At the event, the Complete Works of Konstantinos Theotokis will be presented by the Society for the Dissemination of Beneficial Books (SDBB). Speakers will include Mrs. Annita Panaretou, Ph.D. in Philology, Author, and Member of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Dissemination of Beneficial Books, who will discuss the recently published Complete Works of Konstantinos Theotokis and a forgotten text about him. Mr. Euripides Garantoudis, Professor of Philology at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens, will also speak on the topic of “Honor and Money: A Love Story with Hopeful Social Messages.”

The event will take place on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 8:00 PM, at the Corfu Reading Society. There will also be a simultaneous online broadcast on the Corfu Reading Society’s YouTube channel.

The event is dedicated to Konstantinos Theotokis and presents the ninth edition of the “Society for the Dissemination of Beneficial Books: Konstantinos Theotokis, Prose and Poetry, Athens 2022.
