The 11th SEVEN Festival 2024 is here and presents the summer performance of Stefanos Korkolis, Sofia Manousaki, and the ‘Omonia’ Gastouri Philharmonic.
Joining them will be the Corfu Music School Choir, the 4th Gymnasium Choir, and the San Giacomo Municipal Choir.
On August 2 at 21:30 at the Old Fortress of Corfu, the distinguished composer and piano soloist Stefanos Korkolis, alongside top Greek singer of the new generation Sofia Manousaki, will be accompanied by 80 musicians from the legendary ‘Omonia’ Gastouri Philharmonic, the Corfu Music School Choir, the 4th Gymnasium Choir, and the award-winning San Giacomo Municipal Choir. They will present their summer performance ‘To the 5 Winds.’
A unique musical program referencing all decades of music from 1950, featuring popular disco, jazz, rock and roll, salsa, mambo songs, as well as the greatest timeless hits of the composer from collaborations with Mitropanos, Remo, Rouvas, Galani, Protopsalti, Konstantina, Manto, and more, in the biggest summer party ever with over 200 participants.
The performance will be conducted by the principal conductor of the ‘Omonia’ Gastouri Philharmonic, Spyros Rallis. The preparation of the Corfu Music School Choir is by Elli Karydi, of the 4th Gymnasium Choir by Konstantinos Sueref, and of the San Giacomo Municipal Choir by Antony Ivanof.
