On Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 8:30 PM, the Manzaros Philharmonic Society will hold a concert at the Corfu Municipal Theatre to celebrate the 134th anniversary of its founding.

In the first part of the anniversary concert, works by composers of the Ionian Music School, including Antonio Liberali, Napoleon Lambelet, N. Ch. Manzaros, and Alex. Grek, will be performed. The second part will feature an extensive tribute to the great composer Manos Hadjidakis, marking 30 years since his passing.

Soloists for the concert will be singers Vasilis Yisdakis and Kelly Tousmanoff. The musical body will be conducted by the principal conductor of the Manzaros Philharmonic Society, Mr. Sokratis Anthis.

Admission to the concert is free, with numbered seating. Tickets will be available starting Monday, November 4, 2024, daily (except Saturday afternoon) at the Manzaros Philharmonic Society building, 23 Philharmonic Street, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening. On the day of the concert, tickets will be available from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and at the Municipal Theatre one hour before the concert begins.
