    The Band of the “Mantzaros Philharmonic Society” will hold its annual summer concert on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 21:00, at the Peristyle of the Palace of St. Michael and St. George.

    The young musicians of the Mantzaros Philharmonic Society will perform a diverse program covering almost every musical style, and several original works for band will also be featured.

    The program includes works by M. Hadjidakis, L. Anderson, V. Papathanassiou, R. Barrett, H. Walters, F. Ventouras, R. Saucedo, M. Brown, P. Murtha, and others.

    The soloist of the evening will be the Greek-American pianist and composer, Mr. Felix Ventouras, who will perform his own piece for solo piano and band, based on songs by Manolis Chiotis, arranged in Milonga style.

    The band will be conducted by the Deputy Conductor of the Mantzaros Philharmonic Society, Mr. Spyros Rouvas.

    Admission will be free.
