One of the most active and beloved chamber music ensembles of the Athens State Orchestra brings the magic of cinema to the Municipal Theater of Corfu on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 20:00. The “METALLON” Ensemble of Brass and Percussion, under the direction of chief conductor Nikos Chaliasas, presents a musical tribute to Nino Rota, featuring melodies from epoch-making films such as “The Godfather,” “8½,” and “La Strada.” The works will be introduced by film critic and journalist for the newspapers “Ta Nea” and “To Vima,” Giannis Zouboulakis.
