The one and only, beloved performer Haris Alexiou will attend a tribute concert in her honor, presented by Corfiot artists, at the Old Fortress of Corfu on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 9:00 PM.

The great interpretive work of Haris Alexiou, along with all our favorite songs, will be performed by our own Agathi Koskina. Following a series of repeated collaborations with Giorgos Hadjinassios, Manolis Mitsias, and Michalis Violaris, we will hear her sing songs by Manos Loizos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Christos Nikolopoulos, Marios Tokas, Antonis Vardis, Nikos Antypas, Lefteris Papadopoulos, Pythagoras, Lina Nikolakopoulou, Manolis Rasoulis, as well as songs written and composed by Haris Alexiou herself. Joining her will be Fanis Zervos, and the orchestra will be conducted by Corfiot maestro Giorgos Pagiatis.

The tribute will be presented by our esteemed and much-loved actor Grigoris Valtinos and journalist Iro Lella.

The concert will be accompanied by a ten-member orchestra, and will feature the mixed and children’s choir sections from Acharavi, Afra, Magoulades, as well as the children’s choir of the House of Child and Social Care of Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands “The Smiles of Mon Repos.”

The artistic direction is by Agathi Koskina and Giorgos Pagiatis. This is a charity concert, with all proceeds going to the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Orphanage and the Saint John the Merciful Soup Kitchen in Mantouki.
