“The Phenomenon of Adolescent Violence – Causes and Prevention”

Adolescent violence is one of the most alarming phenomena in modern society, as instances of aggressive behavior among teenagers are becoming increasingly common. This age group is at a critical stage in life, where the development of personality and social skills is still ongoing. However, various factors such as family background, the school environment, and social influences seem to play a decisive role in the manifestation of aggression. In combination with the spread of technology and the use of social media, which often facilitate online bullying (cyberbullying), adolescent violence takes on new dimensions and becomes even harder to control. In examining this complex phenomenon, it is essential to understand the underlying reasons that lead teenagers to violence in order to find appropriate solutions and methods of intervention.

The Association of Foreign Language School Owners of Corfu is organizing a seminar titled: THE PHENOMENON OF ADOLESCENT VIOLENCE: CAUSES & PREVENTION, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Labor Union Center of Corfu (Samara 6, Saroko).
