“Varcarola 2023: Sounds of Corfu” – Thursday, August 10th, 2023, at 22:00, in the bay of Garitsa.

Experience the enchanting event “Varcarola 2023: Sounds of the Sea,” organized by the Municipality of Central Corfu and the Cultural Sub-Municipality. Join us on Thursday, August 10th, at 22:00, in the bay of Garitsa, where the illuminated boats and ships will transport us through time with cherished melodies and sounds of our musical heritage. The event, choreographed to the narration of Natalia Kapodistria and Spyros Vergis, will revive the tradition of Varcarola and culminate in a midnight fireworks display, painting the starry sky of Garitsa. Collaborators include various cultural and maritime organizations, creating an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling under the stars.
