Application for Volunteer Participation 2023 | TEDxIonianUniversity

We would like to invite you to participate as volunteers in the fourth TEDxIonianUniversity event, a conference that will take place on November 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Ionian Academy, with the theme “The Secrets of Time.”

The volunteer team will begin its activities on October 17th, with its first meeting where all the information and committed dates that the team will work on will be provided. During the second meeting on October 18th, we will determine the roles and responsibilities of the team.* **

*The location of the meeting will be communicated to all participating members via email.

**The committed dates will cover a period of approximately 3-4 weeks on specific days following coordination.

This year at TEDx, we will have 10 speakers, 3 performances, 1 host, 1 exhibition, and many interactive workshops with around 380 attendees.

If you are not familiar with TEDx, it is a global event where renowned speakers share their unique ideas and experiences on a wide range of topics. TEDx events are independently organized initiatives that contribute to spreading the TED mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading.” With millions of viewers worldwide and nearly 3,000 TEDx events annually, TEDx events have a strong impact on the audience and create positive changes.

At this year’s TEDxIonianUniversity, we will explore the possibilities that time holds within various fields such as art, well-being, marketing, academia, journalism, and mentoring.

By participating in this event, you will: ● Learn how TEDx events are organized and executed globally. ● Have the opportunity to connect with professionals, professors, students, and participants from various fields, expanding your network. ● Develop your personal skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and time management. ● Collaborate as a team in a cohesive group and work with members of the organizing team. ● Gain a unique experience that will equip you for future involvement in similar initiatives. ● Become part of a community where you can exchange ideas, solutions, and share common experiences.
