In most of the temples of Corfu, the Resurrection Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the morning, according to an old tradition, faithfully based on the Evangelical Pruning “On the morning of a Saturday they come to the monument, rising at sunrise”. Also, the image of the Resurrection of the Lord is liturgized, according to the Byzantine tradition, which is still valid in the Aegean islands and in the Slavic Orthodox countries.
