    This one-of-a-kind 23 km trail runs along the northeastern coastline of Corfu, featuring the rugged terrain typical of a mountain race due to the area’s diverse landscape. A truly breathtaking route for nature and adventure enthusiasts alike!

    This one-of-a-kind 23 km trail runs along the northeastern coastline of Corfu, featuring the rugged terrain typical of a mountain race due to the area’s diverse landscape. A truly breathtaking route for nature and adventure enthusiasts alike!

    Kassios Dias Erimitis Trail

    This highly technical and fast-paced 23-kilometer trail offers 1,200 meters of elevation gain, featuring forest paths, old woodland trails, and minimal paved sections. Known for its continuous changes in gradient, the course runs largely along the coastline, winding through the breathtaking and ecologically significant ecosystem of Erimitis, a protected Natura area of immense natural beauty. Despite the coastal route, the trail maintains a mountain-race character due to the rugged terrain.

    Beyond Erimitis, the trail passes through Kremmytha, Kokkokyla, Agnitsini, Kokini, and Agios Stefanos, highlighting Corfu’s traditional villages. These hidden paths once served as refuge routes from pirates when coastal villagers relocated inland to safer, mountain areas, shielded from the sea.

    The route splits into two distinct sections:

    1. First Segment (Start – 11 km): A classic mountain run through dense forest with steep vertical climbs, technical descents, and a maximum elevation of 350m at the 7th kilometer, providing an intense ascent experience.
    2. Second Segment (Erimitis, 11 km – 17 km): A coastal stretch with gentler slopes closer to sea level, providing a unique challenge in managing pace and effort.

    Interested participants, please note the following details:

    • Registration Period: Opens February 15, 2025, and closes on April 7, 2025.
    • Registration Method: Only online registrations via the event website are accepted.
    • Strict Deadline: No registrations will be accepted after April 7, 2025.
    • Participation Cost: €25, payable by bank deposit.
