Bataria beach is located in the northern part of the area of Kassiopi and is one of the most impressive beaches.
Its location just below the road does not detract from the tranquility of this beach with its unaltered, unspoilt, natural beauty. It also offers some of the most beautiful sunsets of Northeast Corfu.
Bataria, emerald beach
A special feature of the beach is its crystal clear waters and the contrast of the water’s emerald colour with the brown smooth rocks that line it. Its area is not large, it has umbrellas and sunbeds for rent but many bathers lay their towels on the warm rocks at its edges as well.
If you cross the rocks on the left side of the beach you will reach another outstanding beach of the area, Kanoni Kassiopi’s beach, which also has large smooth rocks, on which dozens of sunbeds and umbrellas are spread.
