On foot one can cross a relatively inaccessible path between Prasoudi and the settlement of Skala Paramonas, located near the settlement of Agios Matthaios.

At Agios Nikolaos beach, in the past, the fishermen of Agios Mattheos used to keep their boats and fish on the beach of Agios Nikolaos.

This activity has now been transferred to Skala Paramonas.

An excellent suggestion is to visit the neighbouring tavernas where you can savour traditional dishes and appetizers whilst taking in the wafting Greek aromas and stunning views, especially at sunset.

For history and architecture lovers, near the beach, there is the Byzantine Castle of Gardiki, which dates back to the 13th century.

While for those who love  hiking, in the wider area there are many places to explore, such as the beach Paramonas which is approached through a beautiful green path but also the mountain with the magnificent view of the Adriatic and the surrounding settlements, which you can reach from village of Agios Matthaios.
