If there is one place that is intertwined with nightlife on the island of Corfu, it is definitely Kavos.

It is a coastal area with tourist infrastructure that is very popular with young people and especially the British.

This southernmost point of the island is blessed with calm, shallow waters and sandy beaches, while the presence of nature as an element of the island of Corfu, is perceived in the olive trees of the area.

The history of "Cavo bianco" of the Venetian period.

Back in time, probably due to the avoidance of the inhabitants to be near the shores in the event of a pirate raid, the area was not very developed.

Kavos for many years hosted the farmhouses of the inhabitants of Lefkimi with few inhabitants.

Its great tourist development, however, quickly made it a favorite destination of the youth and its tourist infrastructure was developed to meet the needs of visitors.

Kavos is the ideal place to live the experience of night entertainment until the early morning.

The whole area has been structured to meet the needs of tourists offering many options in beach bar, bar, pub, club and restaurants mainly fast food with longer hours than the usual of the rest of the island.

The place is also suitable for lovers of water sports and you will find in the area football, volleyball and tennis courts while in addition there is the possibility for bungee jumping and karts.

Just 2 km away you can find the cape of Arkoudila, a great alternative for those who want to explore the area and enjoy a different dip in the unorganized and unspoiled beach of Arkoudila.

Due to the great tourist interest, there are many who choose to combine their holidays with the nearest destination Paxos-Antipaxos to which they drive by boat but also on day trips to Sivota, Thesprotia and Parga.
