Kavos beach does not sleep! It is a hive of boisterous activity with revelers partying day and night.

At the southern end of the island, 45 km from the city of Corfu, Kavos has clubs, discos, Karaoke bars and pubs with all types of music and alcoholic drinks to suit all tastes. There are snack bars and take away food outlets that stay open 24/7. If one is looking for peace and quite or authentic, home-cooked Greek cuisine, this is not the best place to be!

Every year, Kavos attracts thousands of young tourists with its economical package holidays, which combine entertainment with a place in the sun. It has a large, organized, golden, sandy beach about 2 km long, with relatively cold shallow waters.

Facilities and activities

Everything in the area is structured around having fun, so Kavos tends to attract a young crowd of rowdy, partygoers. There are dozens of options for water sports from inflatable rides to water skiing. Other activities such as go-karting and bungee jumping are also available.

Kavos developed very quickly in the 70’s so mostly comprises large all-inclusive hotels. There is little in the way of traditional architecture or cultural heritage so it has a very different appeal to other villages or towns on Corfu. There are some lovely beaches including quieter sandy, almost isolated beaches in close proximity for those who wish to escape the buzz.

For party animals Kavos is the place where memories are made!
