In the enchanting area of Paleokastritsa and among the Ermones you will come across the beautiful double beach called Limni beach.

The island of Corfu keeps its mysteries well hidden; this unique double beach, Limni beach is definately worth exploring.

The main access of Limni beach is the sea, but also the land for those who are looking for an andenture and would love to follow downhill paths in nature.

With some carved wooden signs and like other explorers you can find yourself in the view which is very similar to that of the now well-known and photographed beach, Porto Timoni.

Alternatively, you can rent a boat to explore all the surrounding beaches. We recommend the “Corfu Explore boats” that will provide you with detailed instructions and ensure that you will have a beautiful summer outing with your family, friends or partner.

Corfu-Explore Boats will give you a beautiful tour of Limni beach and the surrounding caves and beaches.

If you are lucky enough to talk to a local, they have several stories to tell you about this beach,  with many interesting myths connected to the area and its morphology.

The beauty of the area and the shades and colors will lead you to a realization that anyone can connect it to mythology as it is blessed by nature with trees, pebbles, and clear waters.

The one side of Limni beach is more quiet, it has shades of green and its waters are reminiscent of a small lake, perhaps from there the fishermen and the locals named it “Limni” that in greek is translate it as a lake.

The pebbles form a small strip of land that separates the two beaches leading us to the second beach with blue and blue shades that dress the unexplored rich bottom.

The dense vegetation, the sea urchins and the most inaccessible route with the labyrinthine paths have kept the beach protected from the “exploitation” of the massive crowds.

Of course, as it happens also in other beaches, many people but also locals who know the trails well, have it as their favourite summer destination.
