In the beautiful sandy beaches of South Corfu and passing through the village of Perivoli you can find Santa Barbara beach which is together with the popular beach of Marathia, the natural continuation of Agios Georgios.

Marathias occupies the northern part while Santa Barbara occupies the southern part, without having demarcated exactly their borders.

Although the beach is mostly known as Santa Barbara beach, in the old signs it is very possible to come across the name Malta or Marta.

Santa Barbara beach is loved by visitors of all ages, with the endless sandy beach that young children adore to play with and the clay, in some parts of the beach, to arouse the interest of bathers who try its properties and colors on on their skin.

Restaurants and taverns are located above the beach with the road narrowing sharply, so it is reccommend that you park your vehicle a little further to avoid possible congestion during the busy summer months.

At Santa Barbara Beach you can also find water activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving.
